Before teaming up with Arthur Ziller and Linda Marsh, Cornelius Lang had cultivated a strong reputation as a trial lawyer in his native Western New York.
After graduating from Canisius College in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo in 1973. Mr. Lang then went to work for the Erie County District Attorney's office where he served as a senior prosecutor for eight years.
In 1981, he left the DA's office to join the Law Offices of Mark Farrell. There he specialized in insurance defense work until 1986 when he became a founding partner of Lustig & Brown, LLP, where he concentrated on errors and omissions work for insurance agents.
In 1996, he joined Art Ziller and Linda Marsh to form the law firm of Ziller, Marsh & Lang, LLP. He currently concentrates in the field of personal injury litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He has also served as an arbitrator in personal injury cases.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Lang is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He has also been the director of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association and is actively involved in its Arbitration Program.
